MONTREAL--Sept. 15, 2003-- Quebecor World received industry recognition for excellence in product quality when it was recently awarded 59 Gold Ink Awards. Co-sponsored by Print Media and Printing Impressions, the awards are recognized as the nation's most prestigious print competition. The awards were won by 16 Quebecor World facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada, and totaled more than twice the number won by any major competitors.
"We are pleased by the number of awards Quebecor World has received once again, stated David Boles, Chief Operating Officer, Quebecor World North America. "These prestigious awards affirm the quality of our work, the diversity of our platform and the level of dedication each Quebecor World facility commits to their customers."
Open to all creators and producers of printed material, this year's Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from nearly 1600 entries submitted within 40 distinctive categories.
