Wilmington, DE – Associates International, Inc. (Ai) – formerly Associates Graphic Services – a leading integrated marketing services provider, announced that Karen Keenan, Director of Marketing, has been elected President of the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association. Keenan will serve a one-year term, starting this month. Prior to being elected President, Keenan was Vice President for two years.

Keenan is well suited for this role as she brings deep experience and expertise to the task. She started her career in graphic art sales with the Eastman Kodak Company and also held the positions of Sales Representative, Creative Segment Manager, Dealer Marketing Manager, and Corporate Accounts Manager. Keenan also worked for DuPont as Print Media Manager, New Business Development Manager, and then Global Brand Manager.
In 2001, Keenan joined DocuSource where she climbed the ladder to become President and owner of the firm. The company's rapid expansion caught the attention of Associates International which expanded its digital market share by purchasing DocuSource in 2004. As Director of Marketing at Ai, Keenan helps the company expand its digital solutions division through innovative marketing strategies. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences on the topic of integrated campaign development.
The PDMA – which has served the direct marketing community through education, information and networking services since 1943 – is a non-profit membership association consisting of more than 500 members throughout Philadelphia, Southern New Jersey, and Northern Delaware.
