SGIA Expo Zones offer innovative imaging possibilities

Fairfax, Virginia - Discover the latest specialty imaging trends and technologies at the Expert Advice Zones during the 2010 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 13-15). Tailored to the diverse SGIA community, these sales-free Zones provide imagers with a hands-on educational experience unlike any other.

"The Expert Advice Zones present a unique, interactive learning experience for Expo attendees," said Dan Marx, SGIA's Vice President of Markets and Technologies. "Industry experts will show imagers how to add value to their business by implementing the newest developments in the specialty imaging community."

Imagers can explore new market opportunities at these three eye-opening Zones, designed exclusively for the graphics and sign community:
-PDAA Graphics Application Zone: PDAA Master Certified installers will be onsite to give you an inside look at applying graphics to a variety of innovative and unique surfaces. The Zone is sponsored by 3M Graphics, Avery Dennison, FLEXcon, Hewlett Packard Company and MACtac; with additional support from Clear Focus Imaging.
-Industrial Application Zone: Industry experts will be on hand to discuss today's ultra-precise measuring equipment and state-of-the-art processes used to produce high-tech products.
-DSA Digital Signage Zone: Representatives from the Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) will be available to discuss the processes and requirements of dynamic signage workflow.

Garment decorators have the opportunity to amp up their business with these customized Zones:
-Digital Apparel Production Zone: Test out a wide range of technologies, including: Dye sublimation, direct-to-garment inkjet, heat transfer, and print and cut vinyl.
-Screen Printed Apparel Training Zone: Coordinated by Riley Hopkins and other major industry suppliers, attendees can experience six free interactive training sessions each day on the Expo floor.
