IPMA to conduct special educational session for in-plant printers at Graph Expo 2010

Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA - The In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) has announced it will hold a special free lunchtime educational session for in-plant printers at GRAPH EXPO 2010.  The session, sponsored by IPMA and In-Plant Graphics magazine, will take place on the third day of GRAPH EXPO, Tuesday, October 5, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. in McCormick Place.  GRAPH EXPO 2010, the year's largest graphic communications exhibition and conference in the Americas, will take place October 3-6, 2010, in Chicago's McCormick Place South.

The session, "Integrated Marketing-The Next Step for In-Plants," will educate attendees on how to help drive response rates, build marketing intelligence, boost sales and add strategic value to their organizations.  Specifically, it will feature a panel of in-plant experts from three industry segments who will showcase how they successfully implemented TransPromo, Quick Response codes, pURLs and variable data within their environments to generate a significant return on investment.  Attendees will learn not only the "what" of integrated marketing, but also how to apply what they learn during the session to their operations when they return home.

"GRAPH EXPO is the industry leader for print trade shows in the United States, and the place to see all the top equipment and software companies that will be introducing new products," noted Debbie Pavletich, Immediate Past President of IPMA and graphic services manager at Briggs & Stratton Corp.  "This IPMA session is an ideal way for attendees to enjoy a served lunch and learn the best way to implement the technologies they see on the show floor into their operations."

"Like all graphic communications professionals, it's important for in-plant professionals to stay ahead of the technology curve and make continued investments in their operations," said Ralph Nappi, President of the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC).  "Unfortunately, in-plant printers face a unique challenge in that the very people they serve are often also the ones who sign off on their investment decisions.  We're pleased to be able to work with IPMA to offer this session, which provides valuable education to in-plant printers on how to make an intelligent technology investment and proactively partner with their customers in ways that provide real value for the entire organization."

"Integrated Marketing-The Next Step for In-Plants" is free to all registered attendees of GRAPH EXPO 2010.  Lunch will be served during the session.

Recognized as the commercial printing, publishing, mailing and transactional exposition for the Americas, GRAPH EXPO 2010 themed, "The Next Generation of Print," has been designed to offer a customized show-going experience to a diverse spectrum of attendees.  The exhibition will offer the latest graphic communications technologies in live equipment demonstrations across the expansive show floor and education on the most in-demand products and profit-making opportunities.  Attendees will find seven special interest sections on the show floor.  Along with the debut of News Print-the newspaper pavilion, these include PackPrint, covering package printing; Future Print, featuring two of today's hottest technologies Printed Electronics and RFID; the Mailing & Fulfillment Center, the industry's largest mailing event anywhere in the Americas; the second annual GREENspace, a showcase on sustainability and eco-friendly products and services; and the Prepress/Software-Design and Press/Finishing sections.
