Label Traxx 3.4 released

Press release from the issuing company

September 9, 2003 -- With the release of Label Traxx version “3.4” this September, Tailored Solutions has made a variety of major and minor enhancements to make up the 100+additions to the program.  Designed specifically for the Flexographic Print Market, Label Traxx offers: Automated Activity Based Cost tracking ABC costing methodology allows management to identify the true costs of Customers and orders throughout the entire work order process. Statistics within print and other industries prove that the most profitable firms manage both production and administrative costs to control their bottom line. With a keen eye to the cost of collecting data, Label Traxx incorporates automatic data gathering for many of the non-production activities. This greatly increases data integrity without compromising productivity. Fasson Connect Direct Through a joint venture between Fasson and Tailored Solutions - placing orders with Fasson has never been easier. With a simple touch of the button on the Label Traxx purchase order screen job specific orders are sent directly to Fasson’s order department.  Fasson will send an immediate return email acknowledging receipt of the order followed by an order confirmation and shipment release emails. The order detail is maintained in Label Traxx and with Fasson.   “We have eliminated the need to use other system (phone, fax or web) to place an order, or having to remember to place the order after completing order entry in the Label Traxx system. The order is now a natural step in the workflow process”, offers Ken Meinhardt, Tailored Solutions president. “ This greatly improves purchasing efficiency, eliminating errors and omissions, and reducing the time between order placement and production. Warehoused Inventory Kitting & Management  As more flexo printers offer fulfillment services, “Kitting” of individual products as one unit is a necessity. Label Traxx maintains stocking levels at the Kit and component parts level to ensure minimum response time and maximum inventory turns. In addition, new Order Planning functions evaluate replenishment order benchmarks and production schedules to maximize press utilization. Automated inventory movement of internal and external “purchases” completes the time-saving enhancements. Price tuning across six quantities, unlimited press configurations and expanded ink price estimating round out some of the key upgrades in version 3.4.
