01 September 2003 Athens - Sappi, the world's leading producer of coated fine paper, has opened a new sales office in Athens, Greece, with effect from today, 01 September 2003. This newly established subsidiary is called Sappi Hellas Limited. While Sappi has been serving the Greek market for several years through commercial representatives Henry Arones SA, the opening of a Sappi office is in line with the global strategy of Sappi to serve its key markets more directly. Henry Arones, Managing Director of Henry Arones SA, has agreed to accept the responsibility of Managing Director of Sappi Hellas Limited. Sappi has successfully been the coated woodfree paper market leader in Greece since the 1950's and believes that the new sales office will strengthen and improve its ability to service the market and grow its presence even further. Its paper brands include Magno, HannoArt, Presto, Parade and Royal.
