Minneapolis, MN (August 29, 2003) -- CGS Publishing Technologies International has named Steve Pfeffer as Director of Sales for CGS’ U.S. operations. Previously serving as Director of Electronic Imaging for Enovation Graphic Systems, Pfeffer was a driving force behind Enovation’s success with electronic equipment sales in the Midwest. Citing CGS’ rapid U.S. growth as a reason for the move, President Trevor Haworth welcomed Pfeffer. “Steve understands the business needs of printers and graphic arts professionals,” he said. “He also understands digital proofing and workflow, and how those technologies can mean survival in a changing market. His success in selling ORIS Color Tuner, CGS’ award-winning color proofing system, at Enovation made it clear that he’s perfect for the job.” Pfeffer has 13 years of experience in the graphic arts industry, beginning with Agfa/Compugraphic in 1988. Three years later, he joined Olson Graphic Products, where he developed and managed sales and technical support services for digital prepress. Through the many dealer acquisition stages (Bell, PrimeSource and Enovation), he has expanded his role as a leader in the graphic arts dealer/integrator channel.
