DiMS! architectural design wins over EDS group

Press release from the issuing company

Lichtenvoorde, the Netherlands – After an intensive and extensive search for an MIS/ERP system, Euro-Druckservice (EDS) has selected DiMS! organizing print to implement their world leading DiMS! MIS/ERP system in all of their heatset locations. DiMS! won over EDS based on its clean, superior architectural design and the credible customer references the system brings with it.

Headquartered in Germany, EDS operates 11 locations across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and is one of the market leaders in industrial printing. By implementing the DiMS! enterprise functionality, EDS will gain optimal accessibility to all their data across all the implemented locations. Having all the heatset locations operating using DiMS! will provide EDS management the transparency they are looking for. Data will be provided quickly, accurately and a complete overview of all their local business processes will be available in real-time. DiMS! and EDS have already taken the first steps in the implementation process, with the first site going live in August 2010.

"We support our customers with the most up-to-date technology and specialist know-how, therefore we searched for a compatible MIS system that could also offer us these values in return", said Gerhard Sundt, CEO, Euro-Druckservice. "We also want all our heatset locations to operate in harmony, because this will provide us with transparency, increased efficiency and cost savings. We recognized all of our requirements directly in the DiMS! solution. We look forward to a great working relationship with DiMS! and joining their list of strong references."

"Considering their multi-plant, multi-lingual, multi-currency and multi-product characteristics - Euro-Druckservice is a perfect fit for DiMS!", commented Gerard Marneth, CEO, DiMS! organizing print. "Moreover, EDS has a very technological and business savvy management, which definitely will contribute to the success of the project. Our aim is to implement all of our best business practices - not only from a customer view, but also from a project implementation perspective."
