Press release from the issuing company

Cincinnati, OH - Berman Printing is once again being recognized for superior manufacturing, taking home four "Print Excellence" awards in this year's PIANKO competition-one gold, two silver, and one bronze. The count surpasses its three won in 2009 and adds to its extensive industry honors.

Sponsored by Printing Industries of Ohio–Northern Kentucky, the prestigious annual competition receives hundred of entries every year. "The quality of entries made judging more difficult than ever," said PIANKO president Jim Cunningham. "2010 Print Excellence Award winners exemplify incredibly creative work."

Winning Berman submissions include Valvoline's Motorsports Calendar, Rachel Ray's pet food package, a folder for Indiana Insurance, and Lane & Company Communications' "Family Room Booklet," which received the coveted gold distinction. Pieces used sophisticated techniques ranging from "soft touch" aqueous to complex package assembly. A number of the items also featured "green" elements, showcasing Berman's expertise with soy inks and FSC papers.

"Brilliant color reproduction and impeccable detail help our clients'' programs command attention," said Bill Tucker, Executive Vice President of Sales. "Berman Printing is not only committed to consistent production excellence, but to offering customers the state-of-the-art in sustainable solutions and manufacturing flexibility. We are very pleased to be recognized one again amongst the industry's finest."
