Press release from the issuing company

Singapore - Anthem Worldwide, a Schawk Strategic Design Company, whose integrated global network provides innovative solutions to articulate, unify and manage brand impact to create compelling and consistent brand experiences, announced the appointment of Spencer Ball to the post of creative director at its Singapore office. In this role, Mr. Ball will assume creative leadership of strategic design assignments for the Asian market and global network assignments that leverage Anthem's Singapore design talent.

"I am excited to be a part of Anthem's worldwide creative community," said Mr. Ball. "Anthem's leadership in packaging, the most critical brand touch-point, and private label branding, is impressive. I can't wait to tap into our extensive global creative network. It's like professional crowd-sourcing and allows Anthem to bring a continuously fresh perspective to the strategic design work it delivers."

Chris Plewes, chief creative officer for Anthem Worldwide, said, "We are thrilled to add Spencer to Anthem's creative leadership team. With a passion for consumer-focused branding, Spencer brings a wealth of packaging design and retail branding experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector to our Singapore office and to Anthem's global network. His appointment underscores Anthem's commitment to continuously elevate our creative product to deliver world-class creative that wins at shelf."

Added Ball, "FMCGs and CPGs must understand consumers' needs and that packaging is the path to purchase. With today's myriad of choices competing on store shelves, packaging that cuts through the clutter and breaks through at shelf is vital -- winning at retail means winning at shelf."

Spencer Ball comes to Anthem Worldwide from Interbrand Singapore, where he led the creative work on a variety of consumer and corporate brands. Spencer's background is comprised of 20 years of experience in branding and design, including creative leadership roles at Fitch Singapore (formerly Spring Brands), where he led several multi-disciplinary creative teams in branding, packaging and retail environments. His brand experience includes Kodak, Watsons, Wrigley, and Coca-Cola. Earlier, Mr. Ball held senior-level creative positions at the Singapore offices of Addison and Then Design.
