Memphis, Tenn. - International Paper announced today that David Kiser will join the company as vice president, Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S), effective March 1. Kiser formerly served as vice president and director, Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability, for Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, N.Y.

"His technical background in health and safety, combined with his experience leading Kodak's sustainability strategy and working with governmental and regulatory agencies, makes him an excellent choice for International Paper."

Kiser holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in physiology from Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in education from Western Michigan University.
