Vivitek To Launch Sales During Graph Expo As Sun Chemical Expands Offerings

FORT LEE, NJ - Aug. 7, 2003 - Four divisions of Sun Chemical Corporation for the first time will combine their displays at Graph Expo 2003 to demonstrate the breadth, quality and value of the Sun Chemical product line. These include Vivitek, the newly launched business providing distribution of printing consumables and services, as well as Sun Chemical Ink North America, Kohl & Madden and SunJet. Graph Expo 2003 will take place September 28 to October 1 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL.

This includes Vivitek, a new member of the Sun Chemical Group that is rolling out full operations during Graph Expo, according to William Glass, Vivitek General Manager. He explained that Vivitek is a new distribution and services business that will offer a broad array of printing supplies for the graphic arts industry. In addition, Vivitek will be able to supply services such as color and brand management, print consultation, analytical testing and safety systems.“Printers are seeking new efficiencies by consolidating their supply chains,” Glass said.
“Vivitek will supply its own brands, as well as other name-brands, of key materials such as fountain solutions, blankets, press washes, web conditioners, densitometers, personal safety equipment and a host of other supplies.” The key, he said, is that these items are designed to work well together, and Vivitek will stand behind them by providing expert technical service for any product it sells with a single phone call.
Sun Chemical also will display products from its industry-leading lineup of ink and coating products for publication, commercial, packaging and industrial applications. Sun Chemical Ink, Kohl & Madden and SunJet all will display their latest products at Booth #812. SunJet is the inkjet focused division of Sun Chemical, serving the growing digital printing sector
Sun Chemical also has planned a full schedule of in-booth seminars that offer solutions to everyday challenges that plague printers. Each division will release new products at Graph Expo that are designed to help printers economically achieve solutions that improve their ability to compete.
