Chris Plewes named Chief Creative Officer for Schawk, Inc.

DES PLAINES, IL -- Schawk, Inc., a leading provider of brand point management services enabling companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers to create deeper brand affinity, announced today that it has named Chris Plewes as chief creative officer for Schawk, Inc. This appointment underscores Schawk's commitment to elevating the role of creative in its brand point management offering.

Plewes, who has served Anthem Worldwide, Schawk's strategic design company, in creative leadership roles since 2001, is charged with leading the development of Schawk's creative product through Anthem and the Schawk specialty groups that deliver creative product. In this new role, Plewes reports directly to Schawk's President and Chief Executive Officer, David A. Schawk.

Schawk defines brand point management as the strengthening of a brand through the delivery of compelling and consistent brand experiences that create greater brand affinity between consumer and brand. Brand point management does this by integrating strategic, creative and executional services.

Prior to his appointment as chief creative officer for Schawk, Plewes served Anthem Worldwide for eight years, cultivating international experience, which includes serving as regional creative director for Anthem's Asia Pacific markets. He has over 20 years of consumer product group and retail experience delivering world-class creative with a practical commercial perspective to brands in both mature and emerging markets.
