Fairfield, NJ - BERTL, a leading independent testing facility for digital imaging devices and workflow solutions, is announcing that it will be making donations to two charitable organizations in conjunction with its annual survey.
The BERTL Readers' Choice Survey is a well-renowned annual survey that gives buyers and resellers of imaging products the opportunity to grade manufacturers and their products on performance, integration, features and solutions offered. The survey BERTL is currently conducting started in early August and will conclude on December 31, 2009. The BERTL Readers’ Choice awards will be announced in the second half of January 2010.
BERTL is happy to announce that it will make a $5 charitable donation for every completed survey response it receives from now through the close of the survey. BERTL’s donation will be up to $2,500 and will be distributed between the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Feeding America organization.
"BERTL is proud to be reaching out in this small way to do its part in helping those in need, especially during this holiday season,” said Steve Lown, director of marketing of BERTL. “In recognition of its own International member base, BERTL chose the Ronald McDonald House Charities for one of their donations because of the extraordinary work this foundation does for families throughout the world,” continued Lown.
“A little bit goes a long way,” said Katie Swanson, CFO of BERTL. Swanson, who volunteers at a local food bank supported by Feeding America continued, “Every $1 that is donated to Feeding America helps them provide seven meals to families facing hunger.”
In appreciation of the survey respondent’s time and valuable input, BERTL has been conducting drawings throughout the survey and awarding prizes to random respondents. Winners have received prizes that include iPods, $50 Visa gift cards and BERTL subscriptions. BERTL has more prize drawings planned for the remainder of the survey.
