Tensor Group Press extension shipped to Turkish Book Printer

Press release from the issuing company

WOODRIDGE, IL - Ada Matbaacilik Co. Ltd. of Turkey purchased a Tensor T-400BE 4-high tower to diversify production on its existing Tensor web offset press.

Mr. M. Abbas Carhoglu founded Ada Matbaacilik in 2000 to finish and bind products for its sister company, Dortel Publishing. Ada branched into printing schoolbooks for the Ministry of Education in 2007 when the first Tensor press was installed. The new tower, shipped from Tensor in late November, will increase press capacity to 32 pages of coldset schoolbook signatures.

The footprint shaftless T-400BE tower is equipped with a Prime UV curing system, Betz Technologies' ink agitators and EPG's remote inking system to increase substantially the current production capability. A Valco gluing system will be installed on the existing H-50 folder. Ada plans to print high quality periodical magazines and inserts with the new press arrangement.

Ada employs approximately 50 production personnel and occupies a 5,000 square meter building in Turkey's capital city of Ankara.
