Publishers Press providing in-house tabloid co-mailing

Press release from the issuing company

Shepherdsville, KY - Publishers Press, a content distribution provider and full-service magazine printer, has provided complete in-house distribution services for tabloid publishers for more than two years.

"There was a need in the industry for a tabloid co-mailing solution," says Steve Sahloff, bindery manager at Publishers Press. "So implementing this service allowed us to develop a resolution for our market, and gave us another opportunity to improve and expand on our distribution services."

Its PubXpress distribution system, located at the Lebanon Junction, Ky. plant, offers full-service distribution capabilities including co-mailing, co-palletization, and drop shipping for Periodicals, Standard Mail, tabloid, and standard-size polywrapped publications. The company also staffs a Logistics Support Group, whose job is to develop shipping and postal resolutions and determine the most efficient route of shipment for its clients.

As the only printer on the market offering an in-house tabloid co-mail facility, Publishers Press understands the needs of the industry and the importance of saving money for their customers.

"We have always made it a priority to develop the solutions our customers need to stay competitive and save money on rising postage rates," adds Sahloff. "Postage increases every year, and the industry changes all the time. But we have a reputation of exceeding industry standards and staying on top of the latest developments. In this instance, we're saving our customers money in the process."
