Colad Expands Offerings With New Xeikon Digital Press

Buffalo, NY and Itasca, IL -- The Colad Group, LLC, a leading designer and manufacturer of presentation and promotional packaging located in Buffalo, NY, purchased a Xeikon 6000 digital color press. The Xeikon 6000 is capable of running 20 inch wide substrate rolls with virtually no limitations in length with substrate weights as light as 27 lb. text and as heavy as 16 pt. paperboard. The press also features full-color One-Pass DuplexTM (simultaneous double-sided) printing capabilities and print speeds of up to 10,200 letter-size pages per hour for text-weight stocks and 4,440 letter-size pages per hour for the heaviest paperboard stocks. The press comes standard with the powerful Xeikon X-800 digital front-end that will enable Colad to offer complete customization and variable-data capabilities.
