Océ launches 44 inch wide format color scanner

Venlo, The Netherlands -- Océ, an international leader in digital document management, today introduced the Océ CS4244S. It is the second Océ wide format color scanner in the CS4200 scanner family with an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. This easy-to-use scanning device enables users in Central Repro Departments and Reprographer environments to capture the finest details in documents and drawings in a productive way.

Architects, engineers and designers now enjoy the productive high resolution scanning capabilities of the CS4244S. The 44 inch Océ CS4244S scanner has an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, allowing users to capture, share and archive drawings and documents in perfect detail.

Easy, precision scanning

The Océ CS4244S scanner comes with Océ Copy Easy. This easy-to-use software enables customers to make high resolution scans effortlessly. Documents are scanned face-up, so users can see exactly what they are doing. They can scan and copy in full color and monochrome. The machine also scans to file in a wide range of formats including PDF, TIFF, JPEG and DWF.

Productive copying and scanning

With the speed of 4.5 meters a minute in full color and 15 meters a minute in black & white, the Océ CS4244S is a very productive scanner. Optional with Océ Color Copy, productivity can be increased even more using smart features like Job Editor, Sub system, reprint from archive and job templates.

Energy efficient and compliant

The Océ CS4244S uses less than 3 W in sleep mode in compliance with the US Energy Star standard. It also complies with the European Union RoHS directive for lead content. All scanners in the Océ CS range are designed and manufactured in Europe in accordance with the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
