ImPress Announces On Demand Digital Foil Printer

Press release from the issuing company

Chelmsford, MA -- ImPress Systems, Inc. announced today the introduction of Foil Xpress.  This innovative, desk-top printer will transfer a custom foil imprint on leather, bonded leather, vinyl, plastics, and paper items - including book covers and finished books (such as photo albums, planners and diaries), photographs and photo mats, portfolios, presentation and report covers, novelties, and ad specialty items.

Configured as a compact, desk-top printer, Foil Xpress significantly reduces the direct and indirect costs of printing by eliminating costly set-up time, as well as the dies, screens, cliches, inks, and solvents used in traditional printing methods.  The system is cost effective for long, short, and personalized runs and applies any computer-generated text and graphics instantly.  Versatile, quiet, and environmentally friendly, Foil Xpress is safe, easy-to-use, and produces sharp, durable one-of-a-kind impressions - on demand.

"Industrial specialty printers have been using our on demand foil printers, Cyclone, Force10, and Force10L, to personlize and serialize their products since 2001," said Stephen L. Aroneo, president.  "Foil Xpress provides the same benefits as our industrial printers, but is designed to operate in any environment, including retail and copy shops - making foil stamping cost effective for any size organization."
