CHAMBERSBURG, PA – Larry Somers of East Berlin, Pennsylvania, has been named print specialist for Government Print Management, the e-LYNXX Corporation division that helps print suppliers win work from the U. S. Government Printing Office (GPO) and other government agencies.  e-LYNXX is the leading print management and procurement licensing firm in North America.

"Larry is a seasoned print industry veteran, and his experience as a GPO specialist, estimator and planner and a print production manager will complement our current staff of experts who provide guidance, training and ongoing assistance to Government Print Management clients nationwide," said Maxine Gindlesperger, chief administrative officer of e-LYNXX.  "In addition to helping clients evaluate GPO job specifications, he will encourage them to adopt contribution pricing as of a successful strategy for winning government work."

Contribution pricing is when suppliers bid low to fill open production capacity or downtime. The most effective GPO print suppliers maximize usage of production capacity with this strategy.  They also use a print management firm to ensure their success.

Somers joined e-LYNXX after having been a GPO specialist/estimator/planner at YGS Group in York, Pennsylvania. He also has been production manager for Triangle Printing Company in York and general manager of Waveline Direct in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

He has completed advanced print courses at the Rochester Institute of Technology and management studies through Penn State University.
