2008 VIP Series from PSDA Kicks off in September

Press release from the issuing company

Alexandria, VA – August 21, 2008–The VIP Series was established in 2007 by the Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA) and Ennis, Inc. to bring timely education topics to printing professionals on a regional level. The 2008 events are being held in Anaheim, CA and Baltimore, MD on September 23rd and October 23rd, respectively, and will have a specific focus on Sustainability and Social Networking.

"The VIP Series was very successful last year and we are excited about the two events scheduled for this fall." said Patrick Cook, vice president of sales & marketing of Ennis, Inc. "We think this series helps build on the relationships and networking opportunities distributors are looking for and invite all distributors to make time to attend."

Attendees of each event will hear presentations from industry experts, Joel Warady, principal of the The Joel Warady Group and Don Carli, executive vice president of SustainComm World, LLC.  Warady's presentation will introduce alternative techniques to help businesses branch out into the online marketing community by using a variety of digital tools available today.  His session will cover social networking, e-commerce, blogging, and more. Carli, a leading expert on sustainability, will present the latest information on 'going green' and teach attendees how to write their own sustainability reports.

"We are proud to be a sponsor of the VIP Series to continue promoting education about our core message, sustainability," said Melissa Klug, director of marketing for Glatfelter. "I am particularly excited to introduce Don Carli to the attendees, who I had the opportunity to see this January.  Don is an expert on the topic and has a wealth of information to provide in the new world of green messaging."

The 2008 VIP Series is supported by its sponsors: Ennis, Inc., Four51, Glatfelter and PSDA. Both events are free, include lunch, and are open to all printing professionals.  For more information on the event agendas or to register, please visit: http://www.psda.org/events/VipSeries/home.aspx.
