BYRON, Minn., June 11 --  Schmidt announced today that they have acquired the cooperative direct mail line of business from Solar Communications, Inc. in Naperville, Illinois. The purchase of the collating assets further solidifies Schmidt as the largest producer of card decks in the world. The addition of Solar Communication's paper outer-wrap technology enables Schmidt to capitalize on the strengths of both organizations.
