EskoArtwork Extends Reach in Scandinavia

Press release from the issuing company

Gent (Belgium) -- EskoArtwork has signed a dealer agreement with Molanders Sign & Display AB to strengthen its market position in Scandinavia. The agreement will see Molanders Sign & Display sell EskoArtwork's Kongsberg product range and software solutions for the sign and display market in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltics.

Molanders Sign & Display AB is a market-leading supplier to the sign and image markets in the region, and now offers the entire EskoArtwork Kongsberg product line, including the latest Kongsberg XP range launched at drupa 08. Earlier in 2009, the Sign & Display department from Molander & Son AB was acquired by the Durst Group and was established as a separate company, managed and co-owned by Hans Molander.

Armand Gougay, Vice President Sales and Marketing for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (EMEALA) at EskoArtwork, says: "FESPA Digital 09 is the perfect backdrop to announce this new partnership – it will open up a raft of new opportunities for us. Molanders Sign & Display will play a key role in helping us bolster our presence in Scandinavia. The company is perfectly placed to help us service the needs of our growing customer base in this region."

A long-standing partnership already exists between EskoArtwork and the Durst Group. Dr. Richard Piock, CEO of the Durst Group, is excited about expanding the companies' existing relationship: "Durst always identifies the most efficient workflows for producing digital prints, not only regarding the inkjet printer and its software, but also on the finishing side. The excellent build quality of the Kongsberg tables and the high level of efficiency they bring make them a perfect match for the Durst RHO printers. The agreement is great news for our customers, who now have the convenience of dealing with just one company, Molanders Sign & Display, for complete product and workflow solutions."

Hans Molander, Managing Director of Molanders Sign & Display, is eager to support EskoArtwork in the Nordic region: "We've already installed 40 Durst Rho UV inkjet systems in the region. Now we can really improve our offering to customers by adding the EskoArtwork Kongsberg tables and sign and display software solutions to our portfolio. The partnership will prove a big asset to us, and will help us provide our customers with the most efficient large-format product solutions."
