VistaPrint Announces Strategic Alliance With FedEx Office

Press release from the issuing company

HAMILTON, BERMUDA -- Apr 30, 2009 -- VistaPrint Limited, the small business marketing company, today announced a multi-year strategic alliance with FedEx Office (formerly FedEx Kinko's), an operating company of FedEx Corp.

VistaPrint and FedEx Office have developed a new application for the design, order and printing of high-quality business stationery and marketing materials. Customers will be able to design and order their customized products online at fedexoffice.com or in-person at any of the 1,600 FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers in the United States. The printed products can be shipped to any location FedEx serves or picked up at any FedEx Office Print & Ship Center.

In addition, FedEx will be a primary express carrier for VistaPrint's orders coming from its production facility in Windsor, Ontario to locations in North America. VistaPrint will have the option of using FedEx Ground, FedEx Express, and FedEx Smart Post to deliver customer orders.

"We're very happy to be working with an unquestioned leader in the retail print and copy marketplace, and believe that the synergy between the two companies will yield great results," said President and CEO of VistaPrint Robert Keane. "Both VistaPrint and FedEx have revolutionized their respective industries through technology advances and years of hard work. There are various components of this deal, including the sourcing aspects, which we believe will allow VistaPrint to increase its level of service and consistency while reaching more small business customers, which we are confident will benefit us in the long run."

"There's no question small businesses are looking for easier and more efficient ways to design and customize their own printed marketing products," said Brian Philips, president and CEO of FedEx Office. "We're happy to be working with an industry leader like VistaPrint who is dedicated to helping small businesses succeed."

The application will be available at fedexoffice.com in May and in FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers beginning this summer.
