John Sweeney joins Chromaticity

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Chromaticity, the leader in distribution and deployment of color management and digital imaging technologies, announces that John Sweeney has joined the company as vice president of business development. In his new capacity, John will be focusing efforts on bringing Chromaticity's solutions to the leading print providers, publishers and premedia companies in the industry as well as being the company's liaison to standards committees, associations and leading the company's education outreach program.

John comes to Chromaticity most recently from IQ Colour where he was vice president of business development. Previously, John was vice president, sales and marketing at ICS, Inc., director, color measurement systems at Graphics Microsystems, Inc. and vice president at GATF (Graphic Arts Technical Foundation) in Pittsburgh.

Improving quality, while reducing ink consumption and substantially increasing color gamut, using current ink, paper and presses, ICE gives today's printer a competitive advantage in the market."  John currently serves on the IDEAlliance and TAGA Board of Directors, is a member of the SNAP, GRACoL and SWOP committees, and was Vice President Pressroom and Executive Committee member of the R&E Council of NAPL, and is a member of the R&E Council Nonpareil Society. A vocal proponent of standards in the graphic arts, John is known for launching new color technologies in the printing industry.  He resides in Pittsburgh, PA and is a graduate of the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University.
