St Ives Direct Edenbridge Ltd, which prints a range of commercial and direct mail products, has recently installed a new Goss Ecotherm dryer. Installed at the facility within one month of being ordered, the new dryer replaced an alternative manufacturer's dryer that was destroyed in a fire in May.

Rob Bosman, area sales manager for Goss splicers, pasters and dryers, comments, "The speed at which we responded to St. Ives in this instance has broken all records in terms of handling, assembly and installation. The quick work of the installation team and the industrial mover, Jozef Hermans from Venlo, Netherlands, meant that the new dryer was up and running on schedule by June 22nd."

The new Ecotherm dryer was dispatched from Goss International's Contiweb facility in Boxmeer, The Netherlands just 16 days after the order was taken in the UK. Clive Mowbray, operations director at St. Ives Direct Edenbridge, comments:
"Following the loss of the dryer on our existing 16-page web press, we were anticipating it being out of action for up to twelve weeks. However, Goss International acted very quickly to carry out a site survey and was able to offer a far better solution than expected. Once the specification was agreed, they manufactured and delivered the dryer within three weeks of the order being placed, and the press was running just one week later.
