Vulcan and MacDermid Sales Management Team Reorganized

Press release from the issuing company

(July 29, 2008) On June 3rd, during the week of drupa, Trelleborg announced that the acquisition of MacDermid Printing Blankets was finalized.  The group had approximately 400 employees and sales of about $91 Million in 2007.  The Vulcan brand of printing blankets was made part of Trelleborg when the Swedish company purchased Reeves Brothers in 2006.

To support the growing organization and to better focus on specific market needs, the sales management team for both Vulcan and MacDermid has been reorganized.  George Christian has been appointed the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Americas and Canada.  He is responsible for sales of both the Vulcan and MacDermid brand product lines.  He was previously the Sales Director for MacDermid Printing Blankets for both the Americas and Canada.

Christian commented on the recent changes, "With the two organizations merging, I am excited about the opportunity it affords us to better serve the market.  It will allow us to bring best of class products and services to our customers. One of our primary objectives will be to provide total customer satisfaction to our broad customer base, as they are the ultimate judge of the quality of products and services we provide."

Emanuele Taccon will continue to be responsible for Vulcan sales in Europe and Asia.  He is located in Lodi, Italy.  Stephane Starck will be responsible for the MacDermid (Rollin) sales in Europe.
