Following Mike Gee's announcement in November last year, with effect from Monday, 2nd March 2009, Denmaur Papers and Independent Paper will join forces to become, "Denmaur Independent Papers Limited".

Mike says, "We are excited about the joining together of our two businesses and feel it assists in providing a clear strategy in the market place.  Combining a strong publishing papers business along with a nationwide distribution business, gives us even greater opportunities to grow our share of the market in the current very competitive environment."

He continues, "Whilst recognising our heritage clearly as One company with One voice, assisted by our leading edge TOPS II paper management system, we feel we have a truly comprehensive offer to publishers, printers, corporates and end users, in an environment that needs new ideas."

Denmaur Independent Papers was named as the PPA’s Magazine Paper Supplier/Merchant of the Year in 2008.
