GI Direct crowned 'direct mail printer of the year' at Connect Awards

LEICESTER 2008 - GI Direct, a leading integrated direct marketing and multi-channel customer communications provider, has been crowned Direct Mail Printer of the Year at the Connect Awards 2008.
The awards were held on Monday 22 September at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. Judges picked GI Direct for its impressive environmental credentials and the businesses detailed understanding of conventional and digital print. The award was presented by motoring aficionado, television presenter and reporter, Quentin Willson best known for presenting BBC's Top Gear. Patrick Headley, Sales Director, GI Direct, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

From the increasing need to provide high level personalisation to the very current concern for the environment, the constant criticisms thrown against the industry's environmental impact mean that printers are finding green accreditations almost a necessity when it comes to attracting new business.
