Hudson, NH – May 19, 2008 – Presstek, Inc., the leading manufacturer and marketer of digital offset printing business solutions, has announced the appointment of Heinrich Baumann Grafisches Centrum GmbH & Co. KG as its new German dealer. Based in Frankfurt/Main, the widely known and respected partner and distributor for prepress, print, finishing equipment and related services in the graphic arts industry will focus on the distribution of the Presstek 52DI and 34DI digital offset presses in large sections of Germany.

DI presses do not require separate prepress systems since the chemistry-free plates are imaged directly on the press. In addition, more jobs can be delivered in less time with the DI's ability to go from digital file to sellable color within 10 minutes while delivering up to 300 lpi and stochastic screening – without incurring additional time or expense.

Presstek 52DI – This landscape digital offset press operates at up to 10,000 impressions per hour with a maximum sheet size of 520 x 375 mm (20.47 x 14.76"), delivering up to 20,000 A4 pages per hour.
Presstek 34DI – This digital offset press produces up to 7,000, 340 x 460 mm (13.39 x 18.11") sheets per hour, delivering up to 14,000 A4 pages an hour.
