Press release from the issuing company
Chicago, IL; April 17, 2007 — PrintSoft today announced it is showcasing a new line-up of scalable solution offerings for transpromotional applications and enterprise correspondence management at On Demand 2007, April 17-19 in Boston.
Demonstrations in the PrintSoft booth #323 on the show floor feature a transpromotional solution for easily creating and managing personalized documents that combines transactional information with relevant marketing campaigns. The company is also introducing its new MailDirect product suite for enterprise correspondence management. MailDirect extends PrintSoft’s award-winning DeskDirect product line and provides web-enabled automated management of event-triggered corporate correspondence from the desktop to the mail stream.
PrintSoft Transpromotional Solutions – A New Scalable Solution Range
PrintSoft’s transpromotional solution has been expanded to provide exceptional capabilities at a variety of entry points, so users can choose the solution modules that meet their needs most appropriately. The solution range includes a new stand-alone application, PrintSoft DM-Direct, which is an all-in-one package for design and production of direct mail transpromotional jobs from a single desktop computer. The stand-alone solution can be expanded to offer web-enabled document management and high volume production capacity.
At the mid-range of PrintSoft’s transpromo line-up, the Web Enterprise Edition features PrintSoft WebDirect, which enables key stakeholders throughout an enterprise to easily manage and revise dynamic content within a document including marketing and promotional messages, legal notifications, and customer service updates using a standard Web browser. Easy to use browser-based functionality includes online previews, conditional message creation and editing, date-range triggers, approval workflows, and version management. WebDirect provides un-matched flexibility for on demand variable message revision including the ability for end-users to interactively create and preview conditional messages online that seamlessly integrate text, graphical and image elements. Easy message management allows an enterprise to keep customer communications timely, fresh and relevant, while web-based approval workflows maintain control and compliance.
For heavy-duty transpromotional applications, PrintSoft’s Web Enterprise Advanced package offers a highly-configurable solution for complex personalized documents. Advanced package modules provide a high-degree of power and flexibility for demanding transpromo jobs, such as those requiring highly sophisticated business rules, dynamic white space management, and high-speed output. The solution is based on the company’s PReS composition engine and offers APIs for enterprise integration and application customization for a fully-integrated enterprise solution.
“Transpromotional applications range widely in their requirements, so users are looking for choices that meet current requirements and offer opportunity for growth,” commented Dan Sheedy, President, PrintSoft Americas. “Our new transpromotional line-up offers a range of options that provide exceptional capability, value and ease-of-use.”
Enterprise Correspondence Management – Introducing PrintSoft MailDirect
PrintSoft will highlight its correspondence management solution at the show with the launch of PrintSoft MailDirect, a product suite for optimal management of customer correspondence that integrates compliance control, brand control and event-triggered personalized correspondence into every-day business processes throughout an enterprise. The suite offers modules for easy integration with BPM and business systems, web-based approval workflows, and easy web-based management of correspondence rules and content.
In production environments, MailDirect provides automated mail aggregation, postal optimization and flexible output management. Within a particular enterprise, print output can be appropriately routed to in-plant printing facilities or to outsourced print providers for automated finishing and mailing. Output options also include Email, Fax, and Archive.
Alternatively, MailDirect users can send output directly into PrintSoft’s Global Hybrid Mail network, where mail is electronically routed to certified production centers closest to the points of delivery in countries around the globe. PrintSoft’s hybrid mail network utilizes its award-winning technology and postal expertise and affiliations to deliver secure hybrid mail services to companies worldwide.
“We are especially pleased to be introducing PrintSoft MailDirect at the On Demand Expo because it provides a truly on demand corporate correspondence capability from initiation to production and even to hybrid mail delivery,” commented Mark Worsley, PrintSoft CEO. “Event-triggered or ad-hoc personalized correspondence now can be managed to achieve business efficiency and real-time customer engagement.”
