JetPlate to offer Dynagram's inpO2 with CTP Products
Press release from the issuing company
Quebec, Canada, April 28, 2008: Dynagram, the leader in innovative imposition technologies, today announced an OEM distribution agreement with JetPlate Systems, pioneers of the world’s first inkjet computer to plate (CTP) systems, for Dynagram’s inpO2 imposition products. Under this agreement, JetPlate will offer the inpO2 imposition product family along with its JetPlate 4880 and 7880 CTP products.
The JetPlate 4880 and 7880 are designed to be a cost effective, easy to use platesetter family for the medium to small size commercial printer. Printing on conventional aluminum plates for 2-up and 4-up layouts, the addition of the inpoO2 imposition family of products is a natural fit providing JetPlate customers a cost effective, easy and fast prepress and CTP solution.
“We’re excited about adding inpO2 to our innovative inkjet CTP solutions,” said Mike Sparbeck, CEO of JetPlate Systems. “We are very please with how easy, yet powerful the inpO2 product is providing our customers the perfect compliment to our platesetters” continues Mr. Sparbeck.
JetPlate customers will select between the full-featured inpO2 Standard Edition or inpO2 ATOM, the entry-level edition. inpO2 standard edition is a high-end imposition tool that creates sophisticated impositions and imposition layouts. inpO2 ATOM is designed for small and medium sized commercial printers and provides a powerful, yet simple approach to imposition. As a plug-in to Acrobat 8.0, both editions run in a familiar environment making them easy to learn, flexible and tightly integrated in a PDF workflow.
“We’re very pleased JetPlate has selected inpO2 as their imposition product of choice” stated Francois Guerard, CEO of Dynagram. “JetPlate has a reputation for quality products and service, and by adding inpO2 they can expand their capabilities for customers while maintaining their high standards.”
inpO2 Standard Edition and inpO2 ATOM will be available immediately directly from JetPlate and through their network of dealers worldwide. All inpO2 editions are available for the Macintosh and Windows platforms and are compatible with Acrobat 8.0.
Both companies will be exhibiting at DRUPA Exposition in Düsseldorf, Germany from May 29th to June 11th. JetPlate Systems can be found in Hall 4, booth number D16 and Dynagram can be found in the Canadian Pavilion, Hall 9 booth E61, and in the JDF Experience Parc, Hall 7, booth 7.0J, as well as in many partner’s stands.
