Pictorial Offset Honored By EPA With Environmental Award

Carlstadt, NJ, April 18, 2007 - Pictorial Offset Corporation, the leader in addressing environmental issues affecting commercial printing for over 25 years, is proud to announce that it’s Managing Partners, Donald, Gary and Lester Samuels, along with Pictorial Offset Corporation have been selected to receive a 2007 US EPA Environmental Quality Award for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to protecting and enhancing the environmental quality in our region. The Environmental Quality Award is the highest recognition presented to the public by the EPA. Award recipients come from all sectors of our community, including non-profit, environmental, and community groups, individual citizens, environmental education and business organizations and members of the news media. EPA will honor this year’s Environmental Quality Award recipients at a ceremony on Thursday, April 26th at the regional EPA offices in Lower Manhattan. According to Donald Samuels, “this recognition by the EPA further encourages us to continue to ‘do the right thing’ for our community and our environment as we have done for the last 27 years – not because we have to, but because we want to leave a better world for our grandchildren’s great-grandchildren.” Samuels continued, “Sunday, April 22, 2007 marks the 37th anniversary of the first observance of Earth Day. We challenge all companies and individuals within our industry to find a way to take steps to help preserve our environment.”
