IO Integration Acquires Cohesion

Press release from the issuing company

Cupertino, CA, June 25, 2008 – IO Integration (IOI), a systems integrator focused on building workflow efficiencies for advertising agencies, commercial printers, and other media companies, announces that it has acquired Cohesion, a systems integrator in Massachusetts.

As of May 1st, 2008, Cohesion, a premier Boston-based provider of computer technology and services to the graphic arts marketplace, has become an entity of IO Integration, Inc. With this agreement, IOI retains Cohesion’s exceptional support staff and outstanding support contracts. As part of the agreement, Cohesion principals Tom Alonzo and Bob Nista are joining the IOI staff to provide continuity in both sales and support to Cohesion customers.

"IOI's reputation for excellence in both their solutions and support closely mirrors Cohesion's. I believe this is a perfect match and is why we are so happy with this development," says Tom Alonzo, president of Cohesion. "This transition offers a unique opportunity for Cohesion's customers to achieve an even higher and broader level of service and support, building upon the core principles and practices on which they already depend."

As a national integrator, IOI's extended reach of service with this acquisition will benefit its entire customer base. IOI also believes that its experience with overlapping Cohesion vendors such as Xinet will result in a smooth transition for everyone. IOI's position as a leading Professional Publishing VAR for Apple, and its expertise with Dalim Software workflow solutions, should be of assistance to Cohesion clients.

"The acquisition of Cohesion will result in an increased level of service and support to our growing Northeast base of customers. We admire the work Tom Alonzo and Bob Nista have done for their customers, and look forward to working with them as part of the IOI team," remarks Mike Holt, President of IOI. "Additionally, Cohesion customers should rest assured that during this transition period IOI will honor and support all existing service contracts originally with Cohesion. We are enthusiastic about introducing them to IOI's expert support team, as well as our integrated workflow solutions."
