IO Integration Appoints Chip Norton Regional Manager in Central Region

Press release from the issuing company

Cupertino, CA, October 16, 2007 - IO Integration (IOI), a systems integrator focused on building workflow efficiencies for advertising agencies, commercial printers, prepress providers and retail publishers, announces it has appointed James (Chip) Norton regional manager, responsible for sales and support activities in Chicago and the central US.
Chip joins IOI from a long tenure at Ivy Hill, a business unit of Cinram Corporation (formerly, Time Warner). Most recently, he was Senior Director of Digital Technology, responsible for establishing policies and procedures for digital technology implementation and asset distribution for one of the world's largest CD/DVD manufacturers. There, he developed an automated, internal manufacturing data distribution method, establishing a secure, virtual network between all plants. He also engineered a national corporate digital asset management solution servicing both internal and external clients, along with a standardized hardware and software configuration for graphic content management. As National Sales Manager of Digital Graphic Services, and member of the AOL/Time Warner Corporate Print Services cost reduction team, he helped develop a coordinated approach to long term storage and use of digital graphic content. He began his career at Ivy Hill as a sales manager, responsible for the start-up of a new business division to service Time Warner digital graphic services needs. The electronic prepress department grew to $12 million in sales. Chip received his BA from the University of South Carolina and is experienced with major desktop publishing applications.
"I have known Chip for many years. Every project he has been involved with over the past eight years is related to the work we conduct at IOI. He is a highly creative and experienced sales manager and operational director with a tremendous ability to manage high profile, large-scale projects," remarks Eric Rewitzer, co-founder of IOI. "Chip has demonstrated that he is an innovative problem solver with a strong sense of developing new business models for the information age. IOI customers will find that Chip can easily communicate complex ideas to all levels of management, with the ability to design and implement efficient working practices."
