The Prolific Group Revamps its Prepress Department with Fujifilm

Press release from the issuing company

TORONTO October 11, 2007 - Fujifilm Canada is pleased to announce that the Prolific Group chose Fujifilm Canada as the supplier of its prepress department's revamp project.  Prolific purchased two Fujifilm Javelin 8600S thermal CtP, one with multi-cassette autoloader and the other with single-cassette autoloader, to replace its first generation CtP devices.   Along with these two high-speed, high-quality CtP devices, Prolific added two Epson Stylus 9800 printers, Trueflow PRO workflow, and MegaRip in its prepress department, all installed by Fujifilm.  One of Manitoba's largest printers wanted a supplier with local presence for this major project simply because they could not have afforded a prolonged downtime.
