Direct Group Appoints West Coast Direct Marketing Sales Leader

Pennington, N.J. -- October 3, 2007 -- Direct Group, a fully integrated direct marketing solutions provider, announced today that leading direct marketing sales executive Jerry Snyder has been appointed Senior Vice President, Southwest Regional Operations.  He will report to Alon Stephens, Direct Group President, Southwest Regional Operations.
The appointment comes as Direct Group looks to grow its presence in the Southwest and on the West Coast.  Snyder will continue residing in Orange County, Calif., and will work closely with the staff at a recently opened Direct Group office in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, as well as with the company's California sales team.  He will play a significant role in helping to expand Direct Group capabilities and client relationships across the region.
Snyder joins Direct Group with 23 years of experience in direct marketing sales and management.  Well known for his client-centric, results-focused approach to building business, Snyder is one of the top-ranked direct marketing sales producers in the country, having generated annual sales of almost $40 million.

Prior to joining Direct Group, Snyder was most recently a sales executive with North American Communications, and, prior to that, he was vice president of sales for Webtrend.  He also held sales manager positions with Diversified Mailing and American Mail-Well Envelope.

Snyder earned his bachelor of science in marketing from Cal State and an MBA in marketing from Claremont Graduate University, where he studied under the renowned economist and management guru Peter Drucker.  Snyder spent his childhood in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where his father worked for the U.S. Embassy.
