ASPT Improves Nomination Process for New Members

Press release from the issuing company

Fairfax, Virginia April 19, 2007 — The Academy of Screen Printing, SGIA’s elite group of experts who promotes technical advancements in the screen printing industry, recently streamlined its nomination process for new members. The newly enhanced submission form — downloadable at SGIA.org, Keyword: ASPT — lists all of the specific contribution information ASPT needs to consider new industry members. “The new process will make election to the Academy more open, especially to international candidates, and lead to an Academy whose membership will be an even better reflection of the international growth and scope of our industry,” said ASPT Chairman Donald Marsden, Ulano Corp. New ASPT members are elected by current members, and chosen based on their ongoing contributions to advancements in the screen printing industry. This year’s new members will be inducted during the Keynote Luncheon at SGIA ’07 (Orlando, Florida; October 24–27, 2007). To submit a nominee for ASPT, the submission form must be sent before the June 1 deadline. (Note: Nominees must be associated with an SGIA member company or affiliated organization, and recommended by at least one current ASPT member.)
