(DALLAS, TX -- Sept. 2007) -- A leader in the printing industry has launched a metroplex-based recruitment firm for printers and associated printing industry companies. 
Tom Bastian, president/CEO of the new industry service company, Bastian & Associates LLC, will headquarter in McKinney and serve printing industry firms throughout the nation, recruiting and placing all levels of sales and management executives. 
For the past five years Bastian was president of The Graphics Group, a Consolidated Graphics Company, overseeing profit and loss, sales and operations. Under his leadership, the company's revenue and operating income increased significantly. 
Prior to that he was vice president of national sales for The Hennegan Company in Florence, Kentucky, a high-quality, $80 million operation, where he was responsible for 20 salespeople in 11 offices across the nation.
He also was vice president of sales for ColorDynamics in Allen, growing the company from six to 19 sales people and revenues from $12.2 million to $42 million.  Before that he was in sales with Heritage Press in Dallas for 11 years.
Bastian, a native of Brookfield, Wis., earned a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. He is an eight-year member of the Advisory Council for the National Printing Industry Association's Sales and Marketing Executive Section.
