Las Vegas, Nevada (SIGN EXPO) – April 12, 2007 (Booth #5249) – Agfa Graphics announced today that several dealers have signed on to distribute Agfa's newest line of industrial wide-format inkjet printers. The Oldham Group and SAS Graphic Supply, distributors of printing solutions for the graphic communications industry, recently signed on to offer their customers printers from the :Anapurna line of industrial wide-format UV inkjet printers.
With a large selection of equipment and supplies along with forty-one direct sales representatives providing national coverage, The Oldham Group (www.oldhamgroup.com) is a value solutions and support provider to the large format and graphics industry. Earlier this year the company launched a new large format division in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to offer complete signage and graphics solutions to the wide format and graphics industry.
"The Oldham Group is excited to feature the :Anapurna XL in our booth, #4877, during the show", said Deb Liles, Director of Wide Format Solutions, The Oldham Group. "Our company is heavily immersed and committed to the sign and graphics marketplace. The addition of the :Anapurna to our product line gives us an even wider variety of printers and solutions moving our current customers into wide format technologies as well as developing vertical opportunities for the current digital market."
"The addition of the Agfa :Anapurna line of industrial wide-format UV inkjet printers significantly improves our exposure to our current customers," said Jerry Collins, Vice President of The Oldham Group.
SAS Graphic Supply has created a new in-house wide-format inkjet division focused on Agfa's :Anapurna UV-curable print engine.
"We had been looking at the UV-curable market because we realized we needed to diversify in that direction. After reviewing all available products and technologies, partnering with Agfa clearly became the obvious choice," said SAS's Brian Scharfstein, who heads the new wide-format inkjet division at the Irvington, New Jersey-based distributor. "We want to be a major player in this market, and with the :Anapurna in our portfolio, that's a goal we are already reaching. It's the right product to sell."
"These dealers are known for the care and importance they place on product selection, and their choice of :Anapurna for their product mix validates Agfa's leading position in the wide-format inkjet category," said Steve Cutler, Business Development Manager, Inkjet Segment, Agfa Graphics. "We are excited to partner with Oldham and SAS. The :Anapurna product line is the perfect foundation for SAS to build their new division and status in the marketplace."
