Thursday September 13 -- ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Award-winning commercial printing enterprise the Johnson Group announced today that it has installed a new six-color, 40-inch Komori LS-640C offset press with aqueous coater. The addition of the new press expands the Johnson Group's growing set of cutting-edge printing capabilities that include custom digital storefronts, web-to-print solutions and nexglosser for super-shine digital printing capabilities.

The press complements the Johnson Group's existing custom printing solutions and helps maintain its unrivaled customer service by streamlining its prepress workflow, improving on-press productivity and providing quick turnarounds - reducing job cycle times by more than half. It has the flexibility to print on special paper stocks, features run speeds up to 16,000 sheets and allows for a maximum sheet size of 28 by 40 inches. It also is ideal for medium- to long-run and color-critical print projects.
