Powerful Enhancements to EFI PrinterSite Fulfillment Unveiled at Graph Expo
Press release from the issuing company
Graph Expo - Chicago - Sept. 10, 2007 - EFI, the world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, today previewed the upcoming version of its popular PrinterSite Fulfillment solution at Graph Expo (booth 3000, Sept. 9-12, McCormick Place). PrinterSite Fulfillment continues to lead the industry with a complete Web-based storefront for fulfillment ordering that integrates to EFI Hagen, EFI Logic and EFI PSI print management systems.
The upcoming release provides even more visually appealing customer-facing web sites for ordering pull-from-inventory, print-on-demand and VDP items, as well as non-print items. The new shopping experience helps printers sell with compelling new "merchandising features," like rotating banner ads and category graphics, as well as much-requested features such as real-time shipping and taxes, and new payment methods such as "spending accounts," gift cards and coupons.
Major new features in the upcoming version of PrinterSite Fulfillment are:
- All new user interface, with more graphics and merchandising opportunities.
- New XMPie features. The only fulfillment ordering site to include XMPie's world-class personalization technology, the product now allows users to manipulate their databases through the web interface. Auto-Fills let users store frequently used information in an online database.
- A new "image picker" lets users compose sophisticated VDP items in the web interface, using a library of pre-stored images and graphics.
- New "product matrix" functionality allows items like apparel and logo merchandise to be seamlessly marketed on the site, just like on business-to-consumer sites.
Benson Media, Inc., of Ball Ground, Georgia, is a media solutions company offering creative services, design, offset and wide format printing, and fulfillment to the multifamily industry. Brian Benson, CEO, said: "PrinterSite Fulfillment has been an indispensable tool in building stronger customer relationships. We are very excited about the capabilities and opportunities afforded us in the upcoming release - in particular the new product matrices and image picker functionalities will allow us to provide enhanced customer experiences. Since the release of the XMPie integration, our Web Technologies department has increased to three full-time employees, fully dedicated to product publishing and website maintenance. Because of the system, we have increased sales without investing in additional sales personnel."
"PrinterSite Fulfillment is still the most robust online fulfillment application for customers who have limited or no technical expertise, enabling them to order print and other products successfully," said Chuck Gehman, director of product management, EFI Advanced Professional Print Software (APPS). " What really sets the offering apart is the integration with EFI's world-class Hagen, Logic and PSI management systems along with integration with partner technologies."
The integration with EFI's management systems enable both clients and staff to accurately track quantities and order status in real-time. As orders are placed and new work is produced for clients, inventory updates from Hagen, Logic or PSI are automatically reflected in the online product catalog.
And PrinterSite Fulfillment's integration with partner technologies, including Manhattan Associates warehouse management system, Window Books mailing software, USADATA, and XMPie Personalization offerings, make it a complete fulfillment and mailing solution that can scale to tens of thousands of users and to thousands of orders per day.
