MAN Roland names Randy White District Sales Manager for Southern California

April 10, 2007 -- Randy White is MAN Roland’s new District Sales Manager for Southern California, providing pressroom solutions to sheetfed printers in Orange County and throughout San Diego. White brings over twenty years of graphic arts experience to the assignment. The holder of a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly’s Graphic Communications Program, he began his career in printing as a production manager, then applied that practical experience as a printing company sales representative. In 1991, he became the Northwest sales representative for a manufacturer of small presses. Five years later, he was named San Diego sales representative for another press manufacturer, increasing their market share from 33 percent to over 50 percent. White was also instrumental in developing a NASCAR race team, responsible for acquiring sponsorship and managing the operation. “The graphic arts is a lot like NASCAR,” he says. “You need to combine the best technology with the most qualified people to win. MAN Roland provides both, which makes me excited about bringing MAN Roland solutions to printers in Southern California.“
