Paramount Printing Shifts to Performance Marketing

Press release from the issuing company

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov 21, 2008  -- Paramount Printing, one of Jacksonville's largest commercial printers since 1912, has restructured and expanded its technologies and services. The company, now known as Paramount Performance Marketing now offers fully-integrated marketing solutions that go beyond the traditional printed piece.

"The printing industry across the country is changing," said CEO and President Jon Cummins. "Paramount has been working diligently for more than five years to adapt and evolve. Our customers are looking for innovative solutions in this tight economy."

Most recently, Paramount invested in technologies that take direct mail to the next level, leveraging the use of personalized direct mail printed pieces targeted to the individual with the power of the internet. The service utilizes personalized web addresses or PURLS to generate leads and communicate with existing customers as well as update databases, measure responses and obtain customer feedback.

Paramount also offers specialized services in building online storefronts. These online catalogs, which can be inter-company or public, allow companies to automate and centralize everything from their own print products from Paramount, distribution of products and supplies through the company or the sale of their products to customers.

Five years ago, Paramount embraced three things that successful, evolving printers have in common. The company now offers digital printing in addition to traditional offset printing; expanded services including direct mail and fulfillment; and services that leverage the internet as a way to interact with their customers and prospects.

Paramount is also a leading manufacturer of Election Day ballots in use across the country. As one of the highest-volume private ballot production facilities in the nation, Paramount is widely recognized for providing unsurpassed quality, speed and accuracy. Paramount is also certified by all three major optical scan voting machine manufacturers to provide precision, accurate ballots for use in all their machines.

Paramount Performance Marketing's newly-launched web site, www.paramountjax.com, features upgraded and expanded content, information on the new services as well as interactive components that help customers do business with Paramount.

Paramount became Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified in 2007. This 'green' status allows Paramount to offer truly 'green' materials whose chain of custody can be proven to have originated from forests that are logged responsibly from an economic, social and environmental perspective. Only FSC printers can get approval from the council to display the FSC logo on the printed piece for their customers who want to express a commitment to "sustainability." The company is also a member of the Jacksonville Lean Consortium, adopting and practicing the culture of eliminating waste while bringing value to customers through the principles of lean manufacturing.
