August 15, 2007 -- Mobile, AL – Xanté today announces that it has promoted Scott T. Reese to the newly created position of senior vice president of worldwide sales. In his new role Reese reports directly to Xanté president and CEO Robert C. Ross, Jr., and is responsible for Xanté sales and support operations worldwide.
Reese has been with Xanté for over three years. He most recently held full P&L responsibility for the company’s European business unit as managing director of Xanté Europe. Under his leadership, Xanté Europe experienced substantial growth.
Says Ross, “We’re confident that Scott will leverage his success in Europe for the benefit of our worldwide operations. He has proven managerial, sales and leadership skills. All of these make Scott an even greater asset to the company’s success as we enter our next growth phase.”
Prior to joining Xanté in Europe, Reese held management positions with Austal USA, LLC, of Mobile, AL and ICON Software Inc. of Irvine, CA. He also spent 10 years as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University, and an MBA from UC Irvine.
