MeadWestvaco Expands Tango Advantage Line

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA – February 13, 2008 – MeadWestvaco Corporation announced today it will expand its coated cover product line to include 10 and 12 pt Tango Advantage Recycled C1S and C2S, furthering its commitment to sustainability focused printing and packaging solutions.

"This is an exciting addition to the Tango Advantage family of products," said Kevin Clark, business manager for MeadWestvaco's Commercial Printing Business. "Printers are now able to satisfy their customers' expectations for outstanding print fidelity while using a product with post-consumer recycled fiber."

Tango Advantage Recycled delivers the same surface, printability, and consistency on press in graphical print and packaging applications as Tango Advantage coated cover, while now containing 10 percent post-consumer recycled fiber. The Tango Advantage family of products are certified by the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) for Land Management and Wood Procurement, and also endorsed by The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) schemes, the world's largest forest certification system.

All specifications for Tango Advantage Recycled are the same as the Virgin Fiber product. Current caliper availability includes 10 and 12 pt for both the coated one side and coated two side products. Other calipers, available on a special order basis, include: 8 pt C1S and C2S; 14, 16 and 18 pt coated two sides.
