Press release from the issuing company
Mortsel, Belgium — 3 April 2007 — The Agfa brand remains in pole position in the rapidly growing Chinese graphic arts industry according to the latest Top Ten Printing Brands Election 2006. The election was organised by HC360.com, a leading multi-media business information service providers and printing websites in China.
Agfa once more got extensive support from the industry and won a Top Ten Foreign Brands Award. Since the first election in 2004, Agfa has each year won leading positions. This year, Agfa was voted most powerful non-domestic brand for prepress solutions.
Although HC360.com did not announce the ranking of the winners, Agfa stays well ahead of other prepress suppliers, the voting results show.
To ensure a fair election, a jury consisting of industry experts evaluated all winners after the public voting to double check results against criteria such as company reputation, market share, innovation, social responsibility, service, customer satisfaction and revenue in China.
