Press release from the issuing company

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Dec. 3 2007 - Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced that two printer models have won "Pick of the Year" awards from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI). As part of the 2007 fall winners, the Ricoh Aficio SP 8100DN won the award for Large Workgroup Monochrome Printer, while the Aficio SP 9100DN took honors in the Departmental Monochrome Printer category.
The Aficio SP 8100DN, ideal for large work environments with demanding print needs, was recognized for its excellent overall performance during BLI's lab tests, offering exceptional print quality, reliability and comprehensive management utilities. In addition, BLI praised the printer for its in-depth feedback to users, software utilities that simplify output management on the network and extensive security features that protect sensitive data.
The Aficio SP 9100DN also performed extremely well during BLI's tests, offering unmatched reliability, superb productivity and top-notch overall print quality in the busiest of work environments. Designed to handle demanding workloads at high print speeds, the Aficio SP 9100DN also provides optional finishers, an audible alarm and highly visible warning beacons to handle large jobs quickly and efficiently, warranting BLI's "Pick of the Year" for departmental monochrome printers.
"Ricoh is proud to have two of our products recognized by BLI as the top models in their respective categories," said Ron Potesky, vice president of corporate product marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "We understand that the consumers in these markets are looking for powerful and highly reliable products that will help their business's bottom line. Winning these awards is a testament to our ability to deliver innovative products that exceed our customers' needs."
The BLI "Pick of the Year" awards are presented semi-annually to the products that perform best in their respective categories based on in-depth lab tests performed by BLI experts. Each product is evaluated in all critical performance areas including reliability, image quality, productivity, print drivers, feedback to workstations, administrative utilities, ease of use, network setup, toner yield and cost of ownership.
