This innovative printer, which will revolutionize billboard application printing with quadruple the speed and ink coverage, is NUR's latest addition in wide-format printing solutions. Alongside the NUR Expedio 5000 Revolution, NUR will be demonstrating the new NUR Tempo(TM) Q released earlier this month as well, as the new NUR Expedio(TM) 3200 Flatbed Module and the new NUR Tango midrange solvent printer at NUR's booth # 3206. The NUR Expedio 5000 Revolution, a high-volume, super wide-format UV-inkjet printer The NUR Expedio 5000 Revolution UV-inkjet wide-format production printer delivers an unmatched production speed of up to 3,200 sq.ft (300 sq.m) /hr which is 4 times that of most solvent-based printers. In addition, the NUR Expedio 5000 Revolution enables 4 times the ink coverage of most solvent ink printers making it cost effective to print with UV inks. This not only offers the billboard printing industry quadruple the speed and ink coverage, it also offers improved media versatility and operational efficiency as a result of the advantages of UV ink. In the Billboard mode, the NUR Expedio 5000 Revolution also operates at twice the speed of the regular NUR Expedio 5000 and produces approximately twice the ink coverage. The Regular machine mode rounds out the capabilities of the Revolution by optimizing the printing for wide-format Point of Purchase (POP) applications. "We have great expectations for a significant impact on the billboard printing industry", says Mark Packman, President of NUR America. "The Revolution is unquestionably a breakthrough bringing together the benefits of using UV ink with the cost savings of markedly increased production speed and ink coverage", added Packman. The new NUR Tango, solvent-based inkjet production printer The new NUR Tango(TM) solvent-based inkjet production printer is designed to bring an unprecedented level of cost-effectiveness to the wide-format printing market and is set to become the machine of choice for middle-sized print shops. Printing at speeds up to 934 sq.ft (87 sq.m) /hr for outdoor applications and 430 sq.ft (40 sq.m) /hr for high-quality, point-of-purchase applications, makes it the most attractive, versatile solution on the market today. The NUR Tempo Q Also appearing at the expo is the NUR Tempo Q, a higher resolution version of NUR's popular flatbed UV-inkjet production printer, providing print speeds of up to 1,070 sq.ft (100 sq.m) /hr with higher color density and improved print quality. This advanced UV production printer prints directly on both rigid and roll-fed substrates and is designed to produce very high image quality of up to true 1,270 x 800 dpi for a broad range of wide-format printing applications, such as point-of-sale, indoor signage, specialty media applications and various types of large signs. In ISA, NUR will present for the first time the new Photo Realistic print mode, offering very high quality prints for special applications. The NUR Tempo Q is based on the successful NUR Tempo platform, which has been installed at more than 150 locations worldwide The new NUR Expedio 3200 Flatbed Module Expo visitors will experience the new NUR Expedio 3200 Flatbed Module. This innovative feature enables quick changeover between roll-fed and rigid printing, underscoring the flexibility of a flatbed machine.
