Imposition of native PDF from Acrobat 8 Ultimate releases Impostrip 8.4
Press release from the issuing company
Montreal, Canada, July18th, 2007 Ultimate Technographics, the leading imposition software developer and the inventor of digital imposition, announces another first, imposition of native PDF files from Acrobat 8. Impostrip 8.4 is the first imposition software in the market that can impose PDF from Acrobat 8 without interpreting or changing the PDF in any way. IMPOSTRIP v.8.4 is also the first imposition software that supports PostScript output from Acrobat 8.
Impostrip 8.4 also supports binary compression of PDF files to reduce the size of plate files. This compression is particularly useful to reduce transmission time of PDF plates on networks or through the internet.
Since its beginnings, Ultimate Technographics has brought to the market an intuitive way of imposing that has stood the test of time. With classic tools like virtual Origami paper folding and client server technology, to today’s innovative dynamic imposition, Ultimate Technographics salutes all the individuals involved in the research and development efforts that brought IMPOSTRIP to what it is today.
With the release of IMPOSTRIP v8.0 last April 2005, Ultimate Technographics has added over 70 new features, 14 new preferences and 74 fixes. IMPOSTRIP being the baby of the family, the Ultimate team is continuously improving its well-known imposition software, and we open the door to any suggestions and wishes you may have. Ultimate Technographics and its partisans encourage you to make your wish on our forum: www.impositionforum.com.
Impostrip 8.4 is a free upgrade to all users who are on the Ultimate Support Plan. For those that are not this is the time to join it so you can say yes to Acrobat 8 files from your customers. For those that have other imposition software it is time to think about a change so that you can stop forcing your customers to revert to Acrobat 7 for you to make plates.
Ultimate Technographics will be celebrating its 20 years of stripping innovations in 2008. Stay tuned for special promotions and activities that will celebrate these two decades of imposition.
The entire IMPOSTRIP line of products will be presented at Graph Expo, September 9-12th, booth number 5427.
